Our process

How contractor matching works

The matching service is free for homeowners. A submission is a request for possible contact—not a guaranteed appointment, estimate, or contractor assignment.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about the problem

Submit the short form with your drainage problem, ZIP code, contact information, timing, and any useful project details.

  2. Step 2

    We review the request

We check whether the project appears to be in the McKinney service area and whether an independent provider may be a reasonable fit.

  3. Step 3

    One contractor may receive it

When an appropriate provider is available, we may share the request with no more than one independent contractor so they can contact you about the project.

  4. Step 4

    You decide what happens next

You are free to ask questions, compare other options, decline an estimate, or choose a different contractor. You are never obligated to hire a referred provider.

Availability is not guaranteed

Contractor availability varies by project type, location, workload, and timing. We may be unable to identify an available provider, and an independent contractor may decide not to quote a particular project. Response times also vary.

Independent contractors

A contractor who receives a request is not our employee or agent. Contractors control their own inspections, recommendations, prices, scheduling, contracts, insurance, licenses or registrations, and warranties. A referral is not a guarantee or endorsement of a contractor's work. Homeowners should independently review credentials, references, scope, and contract terms before hiring.

How the service may be funded

The homeowner does not pay us to submit a request. We may receive a referral, marketing, or site-rental fee from a participating contractor. Contractors set their own prices, and we do not add a fee to a contractor's estimate.
